We are in search of a diligent Staff Accountant to be an integral part of our financial team. This role is located in Kent, Washington, and requires the candidate to be on-site. The role involves various accounting tasks such as accounts payable, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and general accounting, among others. Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks accurately and efficiently

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure financial accuracy

• Prepare journal entries and assist in maintaining the general ledger

• Participate in the month-end close process

• Perform general accounting tasks as needed

• Utilize the Sage system for various accounting functions

• Collaborate with accounting managers for effective financial management

• Assist in building efficient financial processes and practices

• Handle changes and adjustments in financial processes as required

• Help maintain a smooth and efficient finance operation.

The salary range for this position is $65k to $85k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 3% match, and an automatic contribution of 1%. Including 10 days of paid vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave and 6 paid holidays per calendar year.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance and management

• Skilled at creating and maintaining Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

• A strong background in General Accounting practices

• Experience in Accrual Accounting and related processes
