Robert Half Accounting Specialist in Kerman, California
Description We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team in the Agriculture industry, based in Kerman, California. The Accounting Specialist will be tasked with various responsibilities including processing accounts payable, maintaining farm management records, and assisting with different projects.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the management of general accounting tasks and control functions
• Handle the processing of accounts payable and payroll
• Maintain accurate records for organic crop certification
• Manage harvest recordkeeping and monitor payments
• Conduct monthly billing for farm management
• Assist with pesticide use reporting and keep accurate records
• Perform general office tasks including filing and document management
• Participate in various projects such as grant applications, maintaining safety training materials, and website maintenance. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with billing procedures and practices
• Proficient in data entry tasks
• Ability to process invoices efficiently and accurately
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Prior experience in the agriculture industry
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
