Description SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Client Support Specialist is a valued member of a dynamic team focused on providing world-class IT service. We are seeking someone with a history of customer-centric desktop support, who possesses a positive attitude, great people skills and a strong technical background. They will be a key player in ensuring our staff have the technology support they need to drive the business and company mission forward.
This role will be on-site 5 days/week at the King of Prussia office due to the nature of the work being done.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing client-side support to staff who are experiencing hardware, software, operating system, or connectivity issues Providing technical support with conference room AV, web conferencing, and video equipment for conferences and meetings Troubleshooting and resolving issues with local printers and/or servers as needed Performing hardware diagnostics and coordinate repairs or machine replacements Building laptops and setting up workstations for new hires as they join the company Assisting in resolving escalated and/or complex Mac, PC and hardware issues across the team as needed Being an active participant and collaborator in the Client Support team Handling special IT projects across the department as needed
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No supervisory responsibilities
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and six years of related experience; or Master’s degree in related discipline and four years of related experience; or Equivalent combination of education and experience Technical certification may be required Experience: Proven experience providing desktop support in an environment that includes both technical and non-technical users Experience troubleshooting a broad range of complex technical issues across PCs, Macs, and mobile devices, and across a wide array of applications Experience prioritizing numerous tasks and completing them within time constraints Experience handling high pressure situations with calm and professionalism Experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries is a plus
Knowledge / Skills: Advanced knowledge of PCs, Macs and mobile devices Broad knowledge of application support, including Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint Familiarity with and ability to troubleshoot a wide array of varying technologies Ability to work independently and with little supervision Outstanding interpersonal, communication and customer ser Ability to exhibit a positive, detail oriented attitude and work collaboratively and seamlessly with colleagues Requirements Macintosh, Microsoft Windows, Computer Hardware, Audio Visual, Conference Room Setup & Cleanup, Conference Rooms Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
