Robert Half Payroll Specialist in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your main responsibilities will be processing payroll data, auditing information for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with internal and external policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the Time and Attendance System through ADP to ensure accurate payment to all associates.

• Oversee adjustments in payroll, including voluntary time off, retro payments, and pay cards.

• Audit time worked inputs for calculation, coding, or other errors.

• Ensure payroll-related transactions comply with external and internal policies.

• Respond to payroll inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and establish positive working relationships with employees at all levels.

• Participate in problem solving and special projects within the payroll department.

• Uphold knowledge of rules and laws which govern payroll administrative practices.

• Process and compile payroll data to maintain accurate records.

• Address payroll department issues, including Data bridge issues, PTO issues, and eTime issues.

• Perform other duties as assigned or required. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in payroll functions and payment processing.

• Proficiency in using payroll software such as ADP - Financial Services and eTIME.

• Knowledge of auditing practices and ability to resolve discrepancies.

• Familiarity with payroll policies, compliance measures, and internal policy development.

• Ability to handle and lead special projects related to payroll and finance.

• Strong understanding of coding practices and their application in payroll.

• Knowledge of law regulations applicable to payroll processing.

• Ability to use About Time and Bridge software for effective time and attendance management.

• Proficiency in P & L calculations and financial reporting.

• Capability to work with a team, demonstrating leadership skills when necessary.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing timely and accurate resolutions to payroll issues.
