Description Cindy Bradley is current recruiting for Global Manufacturing Controller that will have financial responsibilities for international plants in Mexico, India, and United states. Will require some travel to these locations. This is an newly created role that will report to Cfo in Houston, Texas. This role will consolidate financial information using IFRS and will have plant controller and cost accountant reporting at each of these manufacturing facilities. Will work closely with EVP of supply chain, the controller and will contribute to all areas of the global manufacturing facility management . This role will be responsible for planning an coordinating plant budgets and business planning activities. will have full P/L responsibilities for plant location. Will evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff. Key responsibilities

  • Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

  • Occasionally perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities

  • Prepare cash-flow reports that project cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and handle daily cash management

  • Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll

  • Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis

  • Reviews deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations

  • Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts

  • Research, prepare and execute Finance Department initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as required

  • Give financial reports to executive committee and partners each month

  • Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation

  • Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual Requirements - Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Outstanding technology, analytics and management experience required

  • Self-starter and strong ethical standards

  • CPA or MBA preferred

  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field

  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

  • Standard Cost Accounting experience required

  • Asset Inventory experience

  • SAP FICO experience highly desired

  • Proficiency in Annual Inventory - Must have STRONG PLANT COST experience

    _ Must Be BILINGUAL in SPANISH

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued

  • Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred
