Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Kirkland, Washington
Description We have a Full Charge Bookkeeper role with a nearby start date available that will consist of managing payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, clerical staff, and full cycle A/P. A permanent Full Charge Bookkeeper has become available with a client working with Robert Half to find an experienced candidate to join their team in the Kirkland, Washington area. How you will make an impact
Direct monthly accounting close
Handle Accounts Receivable
Formulate cash flow projections, as needed
Enter budget transfers
Other assignments as requested
Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation
Plan monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Maintain sales tax records and creates and files quarterly payments
Summarize business license and gross receipts
Form cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Get ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Enter Accounts Payable Requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Highly organized and self-motivated
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Significant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
Comprehension of Internal Control
Earlier work involving Quarterly Taxes
Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Bank reconciliations experience required
General familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Journal entries experience highly preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of Prepare Financial Statements
Practical knowledge of Posting Journal Entries
Previous experience working with Associated Depreciation Schedules
Hands-on experience with budgeting
Experience with financial analysis
Foundational knowledge in general ledger
Good understanding of fixed assets
Adeptness in Reconcile Bank Statements
Background working with month end closings
Prior experience with external auditing
Process Payroll experience highly desired
Strong familiarity with Ledger Reconciliations
Prepare Trial Balance experience highly valued
Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
