Robert Half Cloud Engineer in Kissimmee, Florida
Description We are in search of a Cloud Engineer to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida. This role is central to our operations in the digital and technology industry, where you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining our cloud-based technologies. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment, where you will get the chance to work with a diverse team and contribute to our innovative initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the timely renewal of SSL Certificates across multiple domains to prevent any service disruptions.
• Maintain Helm Charts and manage deployment requirements for Kubernetes (Rancher).
• Complete Akamai CDN implementations and updates to ensure optimal content delivery.
• Diagnose and repair system outages, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations.
• Develop and maintain engineering and architectural standards for on-premise/hybrid compute, storage, and data protection services.
• Assist in the creation and documentation of operational procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Provide system reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis to keep stakeholders informed.
• Triage and remediate security requirements across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Monitor customer accounts, process applications, and resolve any customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and manage customer service initiatives. Requirements
Role & Responsibilities:
Maintaining deployment requirements for Kubernetes (Rancher).
Ensuring SSL Certificates renewals across multiple domains, avoiding outages.
Implementing and updating Akamai CDN.
Diagnosing and repairing system outages.
Triage and remediate security requirements across cloud and on-premises systems.
Developing and maintaining standards for computing, storage, and data protection services.
Providing system reports regularly and on an ad-hoc basis.
Assisting in creating and documenting operational procedures.
Key Qualifications:
• A degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, VMware, clustering technologies, and resilient infrastructure design and deployment.
• Independency and quick-learning attitude with the ability to master multiple disciplines.
• Proficiency in virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems.
• Experience with automation and scripting enhancements.
• Expertise in Public Cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud Services, Azure, and/ or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Rancher Kubernetes Containerization Experience.
• Akamai (CDN) Experience.
• Containerization Experience (Docker or Kubernetes).
• AVI Load balance Experience.
• Global On-Call Enterprise Support Experience.
Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Work Schedule: Hybrid model with in-office presence of up to 4 days a week.
