We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role entails managing several crucial financial tasks within our organization. It is a contract employment opportunity that offers the chance to significantly contribute to our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.

• Administering payroll for a group of employees.

• Ensuring the correctness and up-to-date status of all financial data.

• Assisting in generating financial statements and reports.

• Handling routine communication with vendors regarding financial discrepancies and resolving queries.

• Adhering to internal controls to maintain financial security.

• Carrying out other related duties as required or requested.

• Accurate bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records.

• Efficient data entry and account reconciliation.

• Handling of bank reconciliations and accounts payable and receivable duties.

Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proficiency in conducting Bank Reconciliations.

• Experience in Bookkeeping.

• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.

• Experience in handling Payroll.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
