Robert Half Security Director in Knoxville, Tennessee

Description Robert Half is hiring! We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Security Director. The individual will tasked with managing security policies, overseeing a team of professionals, and developing a robust security strategy. This position is integral to our team as it involves working closely with our engineering teams and a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company assets, including data, infrastructure, and intellectual property. • Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, ensuring high-level security across all company areas. • Strategize and implement both long-term and short-term security plans to guarantee that our products are designed, built, and operated securely. • Collaborate with engineering teams to execute design and architecture reviews, which include threat modeling and assessments, code reviews, and security/vulnerability/penetration testing. • Create and implement new systems, tools, or processes to enforce security requirements, detect threats, and defend the company. • Enhance and refine the company's security and compliance strategy. • Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. • Conduct threat modeling, code reviews, security testing, vulnerability detection, and implement remediation methods. • Ensure PCI Compliance and conduct Pen Testing to maintain a secure environment. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the finance consulting industry

• Proven track record in leadership roles, preferably at the Director level

• Proficiency in Pen Testing and PCI Compliance is required

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and solutions

• Strong financial analysis and forecasting abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively

• Advanced knowledge of financial software and databases

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master's Degree preferred

• detail oriented certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar are a plus

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making

• High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance
