Robert Half Supply Chain Project Coordinator in Knoxville, Tennessee

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Project Coordinator to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, you will work closely with the account management team and clients, handling their orders for events, maintaining inventory, and ensuring efficient sales processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the account management team to manage client orders for events

• Set up and maintain inventory in the system to ensure smooth operations

• Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance and identify areas of improvement

• Work closely with clients, handling requests for special designs and ensuring their needs are met

• Ensure all orders are correctly entered into the sales queue and followed through the entire process

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data related to inventory and sales

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to facilitate efficient order processing

• Perform various accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy

• Oversee the buying processes to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods

• Handle inventory accounting tasks, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or within the supply chain industry.

• Proficiency in accounting functions and inventory accounting is required.

• Knowledge of buying processes and sales processes is essential.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.

• Experience with order entry and Microsoft Excel is desired.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Proven problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
