Robert Half Payroll Specialist in Kokomo, Indiana

Description · Review timesheets and correct inaccuracies in rates, charge accounts, etc.

· Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork for tax deductions, benefits and garnishments

· Analyze compensation-related data including wages and bonuses

· Oversee payroll transactions

· Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records and assist outside auditors with data collection and proof.

· Process benefit costs and payments for various unions

· Design, document and implement procedures to streamline payroll processes

· Report to management on payroll issues and changes

· Answer employees’ questions about salaries and tax and benefits

· Stay up to date on state and federal payroll and tax law and collective bargaining agreements

· Review, interpret and implement laws and governmental regulations, collective bargaining agreements, policies/procedures, and administrative regulations as they apply to payroll matters.

· Create, compile and update payroll data and spreadsheets.

· Print, review and reconcile a variety of computer-generated payroll reports.

· Compile, audit, maintain and reconcile employee PTO; provide annual and/or monthly PTO balance reports to employees as required Requirements Payroll - Garnishments, Payroll - Union, Full Cycle Payroll, Payroll - 101 - 500 Employees, Payroll Tax Reporting
