Description Management Resources is currently seeking a QuickBooks to MRI Implementation Accountant to provide crucial support during our system upgrade project. In this important role, you will be responsible for performing data cleanup, creating and structuring the chart of accounts, carrying out testing, validating data and processes, and creating comprehensive reports in the MRI system.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform data cleanup and validation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data during the transition from QuickBooks to MRI.

Use profound understanding of accountancy principles to create a structured and comprehensive chart of accounts in the MRI system.

Conduct thorough system and integration testing, identifying any potential issues or discrepancies before the system goes live.

Validate all financial data, systems, and processes to ensure full compliance with standards, regulations, and best practices.

Create detailed financial reports using the MRI system, providing key decision-makers with timely and accurate financial information.

Collaborate with the project team and liaise with relevant stakeholders to oversee a smooth and efficient implementation process.

Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, system enhancements, and user training.

Ideal candidates possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, have at least 3-5 years of experience with QuickBooks and MRI software, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with system implementation, data migration, and unit test planning and execution are highly valued for the role. Demonstrated ability to work within time constraints and manage multiple tasks effectively is expected. Proficiency in excel is a must.
