Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Warehouse Clerk in La Mirada, California, United States. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be involved in a variety of warehouse duties, including managing materials, processing orders, and maintaining inventory records.

Responsibilities:

• Review production schedules, customer orders, and shipping requisitions to identify items for distribution or storage.

• Transport materials from receiving or production areas to designated areas.

• Classify and store materials on racks, shelves, or bins following established procedures.

• Handle and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.

• Fulfill work orders, requisitions, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to the production team.

• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare orders for packing or shipping.

• Mark materials with identifying information for easy retrieval.

• Unpack bales, crates, and other containers for storage or distribution.

• Keep records of received or distributed materials or items.

• Ensure the conformance of distributed items to company standards by weighing or counting them.

• Organize stock parts for assembly by other workers.

• Use computer systems to enter records and compile worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.

• Operate vehicles to transport stored items from the warehouse to the plant or to pick up items for shipment.

• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.

• Prepare parcels for mailing and maintain inventory records.

Requirements

• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends, and in holidays if required

• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a warehouse setting

• Prior experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
