Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in the Laconia, New Hampshire area. As a Controller, you will oversee all accounting functions, ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and manage the complete accounting cycle up to the year-end audit.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization

• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

• Handle the complete accounting cycle until the year-end audit

• Generate and manage ad hoc reports as required

• Lead the audit process within the organization

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for efficient management of accounts

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) within the organization

• Conduct auditing tasks as needed

• Oversee budget processes within the organization

• Ensure effective Month End Close and Year End Closings operations.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Expertise in Auditing procedures and practices

• Familiarity with Budget Processes and forecasting

• Ability to effectively manage Month End Close operations

• Experience with Year End Closings and financial reporting
