Robert Half is searching for a Finance Director for an amazing organization by the lakes in New Hampshire. Candidate must be local and able to commute as required.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the AP/AR/Accounting Assistant team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Supervise all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct detailed financial reporting including preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Manage budgeting processes and cash flow forecasting to aid in the company's financial planning.
• Implement strategy and financial planning initiatives to drive financial growth.
• Undertake heavy GL and journal entries tasks, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead process improvement initiatives within the finance department to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
• Perform general accounting duties as required, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies.
• Utilize software tools and Excel to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Leverage strong accounting skills and a strategic mindset to support the financial health of the organization.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years accounting experience
Experience as a Finance Director or equivalent experience.
They should have advanced experience working with General Ledgers, Journal Entries, and financial reporting
This candidate should be strong in Excel and accounting systems.
Strategy, problem solving, planning, implementations, etc. mindset
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
CPA is highly preferred but not required
Nonprofit experience is highly prefered but not required
