Robert Half Accounting Manager in Ladera Ranch, California

Description We are offering a role for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Ladera Ranch, California. The successful candidate will be expected to manage and supervise a range of accounting software systems, ensure efficient resource planning, and oversee functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). This is a dynamic role in the financial services sector, offering an exciting opportunity to work with ERP Solutions and Great Plains (GPAC).

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the use of Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services.

• Implement and maintain ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems.

• Supervise and manage ERP Solutions and Great Plains (GPAC) systems.

• Oversee and manage accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Supervise the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

• Conduct auditing as required to maintain financial integrity.

• Oversee and manage billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

• Use the Epic Application to streamline and automate financial processes.

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in accounts or financial reports.

• Monitor and maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is necessary

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is expected

• Understanding of Great Plains (GPAC) is essential

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions effectively

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in Auditing procedures and practices

• Experience in Billing Functions is required

• Proficiency in Epic Application is preferable

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is necessary

• Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role within accounting is preferred

• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills are necessary

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is essential

• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills

• Must have a strong ethical framework and understanding of confidentiality requirements.
