Description Network Administrator Robert Half is representing a client seeking a Network Administrator based in Lafayette, Louisiana. This role is situated within the tech industry, where the selected candidate will be responsible for managing our network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong Cisco experience & heavy expertise managing networks. This role is contract to permanent and does not support C2C engagement.

Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee our network infrastructure, including Cisco routers and switches to ensure optimal performance. • Implement and manage various network technologies such as Cisco Technologies, Dell Technologies, and Ubiquiti. • Responsible for the configuration and management of firewalls to ensure network security. • Maintain proficiency in HP hardware and software to troubleshoot and resolve any network related issues. • Stay updated on network topology to effectively manage and troubleshoot network issues. • Utilize skills in Active Directory for user management and access control. • Employ backup technologies to ensure data safety and recoverability. • Manage the deployment of new systems and network solutions. • Ensure the efficient operation of our network by conducting regular configuration management. • Utilize computer hardware knowledge to assist in troubleshooting and system maintenance. Requirements • Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Routers and other Cisco Technologies •Experience with HP & Aruba technologies • Familiarity with Dell Technologies and their application in a network environment • Ability to implement and manage Firewall Technologies effectively • Experience with Active Directory and its functions • Knowledge of Backup Technologies and their deployment • Ability to troubleshoot and repair Computer Hardware • Expertise in Configuration Management and its application in a network setting • Experience in managing and executing system Deployments.
