Robert Half Systems Engineer in Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This role involves supporting operational procedures for compute, storage, and data protection services. The successful candidate will be involved in the creation, documentation, and implementation of operational procedures within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the creation, documentation, and implementation of day-to-day operational procedures

• Providing system reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis to ensure effective operations

• Identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities to maintain system integrity

• Supporting day-to-day backups, ensuring data is safely stored and easily retrievable

• Creating new user accounts, recovering lost passwords, and maintaining data security

• Implementing server maintenance standard operating procedures to ensure smooth operations

• Diagnosing and repairing server malfunctions promptly

• Providing management with regular reports on system status and performance

• Utilizing skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, AB Testing, Active Directory, AWS Technologies, Backup Technologies, and Cluster Analysis

• Applying knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ansible, and Akamai to optimize system performance. Requirements • Holds a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or a similar role in the IT industry

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, and Cloud Technologies

• Demonstrates a strong understanding of Database management

• Experience with Dell Technologies, AB Testing, and Active Directory is essential

• Advanced knowledge and experience with AWS Technologies and Backup Technologies

• Proficient in Cluster Analysis, Kubernetes, and Terraform

• Has a strong working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ansible, and Akamai

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
