Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Lake Mary, Florida
Description
We have a contract-to-hire opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Lake Mary, Florida. This role entails managing all aspects of accounts payable in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Use Accounts Payable systems to process and record incoming supplier invoices.
Meet deadlines and targets while following the organization's accounting policies.
Review and process supplier invoices, internal payment requests, and supplier creation/modification requests.
Prioritize and accurately upload transactions into the system.
Collaborate with the AP Manager to implement and enhance accounts payable processes.
Apply expertise in AP, supplier invoices, and invoice processing.
Requirements
Must have proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP).
Experience with handling Supplier Invoices.
Familiarity with the Workday platform is preferred.
A strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures.
Solid analytical skills and high level of accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
High level of discretion and confidentiality for handling sensitive financial information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
