Robert Half Foreclosure Paralegal in Lake Oswego, Oregon
Description
A regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant to support their Portland area office on Judicial Foreclosure and creditor' rights cases.
The salary range for this position is 55-85K DOE and benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance with premiums all 100% paid by the employer, 401k, 2+ weeks PTO, sick time based on WA accrual laws and 11 paid holidays.
This role can be partially or entirely remote after onboarding.
Duties:
• Calendaring, detailed file updating, and case management for WA and OR files, pre and post judgment
• Prepare required pleadings, amendments for attorney review and finalization for filing
• Document review, redactions, prepare case status reports for clients
• Manage mediation correspondence, timelines, and data exchange among parties for OR and WA files
• Maintain contact with clients, courts, internal counsel, service processors, and sheriff’s offices on a regular basis
Requirements
Qualifications:
2 + YOE as a litigation legal assistant or paralegal
Experience and knowledge of Oregon State and Federal court procedures
E-filing in OR, Federal e-filing experience a plus!
Preparing legal documents from template, for example: complaints, appearances, summons, default judgement, and judgement summaries
Experienced with calendar management
Previous experience with Judicial Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, or Title Industry will be prioritized
