Robert Half Controller in Lake Worth, Florida

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Controller to join our team based in Lake Worth, Florida. This role is central to our financial operations, with a focus on overseeing the accounting and finance team, managing cash flows, and conducting audits. The role involves a significant amount of financial planning, including budgeting and forecasting, and will require expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable.


• Overseeing the production of financial reports to inform strategic decision-making

• Managing a team of finance and accounting professionals

• Ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting to support business planning

• Implementing effective cash flow management strategies

• Conducting regular audits to ensure financial compliance and accuracy

• Overseeing the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Reviewing and overseeing entries for accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Conducting variance analysis and providing explanations for discrepancies

• Handling ad hoc tasks as required to support the financial health of the business

• Leveraging expertise in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Great Plains Solomon to manage and analyze financial data

• Applying knowledge of the restaurant industry to inform financial strategies and decision-making. Requirements • Must have at least 15 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experienced in budget processes, financial reporting, and budgeting - forecasting

• Demonstrable expertise in cash flow management and accounting management

• Proven experience in conducting audits and developing financial models

• Familiar with financial modeling techniques and practices

• Proficient in using MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Great Plains Solomon

• Knowledge and experience in the restaurant industry is a plus

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and management skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Advanced knowledge of financial laws and guidelines

• Detail-oriented and able to perform complex tasks with a high degree of accuracy

• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Excellent leadership abilities to manage and guide the financial team.
