Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Lakeland, Florida
Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Lakeland, Florida. This role involves a range of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable and Receivable, Bank Reconciliations and Billing Functions. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations and month-end close of multiple entities, while also ensuring the accuracy of financial records and transactions.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day and month-end close for a variety of entities.
• Manage Accounts Payable functions including vendor setup and communication.
• Handle Accounts Receivable tasks, though not heavily focused on this aspect.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Understand inner company transactions.
• Run checks and prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
• Use software tools such as QuickBooks Online
• Exhibit a strong ability to learn new software systems and dig into training materials as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for tasks such as v look ups and pivot tables
This is a permanent position that will pay up to $80,000 depending upon experience. Please apply to Jane Gearhart if interested!
Requirements
• Minimum of three years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook
• Strong understanding and experience in performing accounting functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and billing functions
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
