Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Lakewood, Colorado. This role is within the non-profit industry and requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail. As a Billing Clerk, you will be instrumental in managing customer interactions, processing financial data, and ensuring efficient operation of accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer billing and invoicing in a high-volume environment.
• Administer accounting functions, including the management of grants.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise for data entry and record keeping.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records.
• Respond to customer inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
• Monitor customer accounts and execute collection processes when necessary.
• Assist with the administration of high-volume invoicing.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection standards.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operation of the billing department. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of accounting functions
• Experience with billing functions
• Familiarity with collection processes
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise
• Accurate and speedy data entry skills
