Description Candidates for this position should keep in mind that they will be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company if chosen. · A self-starter with a passion for learning. · Someone that is equally as proficient in their writing as they are in their communication . · Attention to detail is critical. · Ability to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. · A resourceful individual that can find answers to their questions. · A passion for a dynamic, fast changing environment. · An success driven person with a positive attitude that is innovative and can get the job done! · Ability to take ownership and see tasks through to completion. · Work as a member of the Information Technology team · Serve as the primary Software lead for Enterprise IT Group. · Ability to interact and guide the IT team in developing solutions as they relate to ERP, Business Intelligence, Financial Reporting systems and other information applications · Effectively communicate pros and cons of alternative solutions to project stakeholders; suggest creative approaches · Analyze and recommend process and methodology improvements as part of a continuous learning organization · Spirit of innovation and strong problem-solving skills; with a natural curiosity and passion about the latest technologies and leading practices and how to leverage such technologies within the organization. · Continual enhancement of job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, computing equipment, participating in educational opportunities and maintaining detail oriented networks Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Systems related field and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience. · At least 7 years’ experience developing software applications written in C# or other .NET technologies · Experience using Visual Studio and C# to develop user interface with connections to back end databases · Software development & maintenance with strong knowledge of .NET/C#, WPF, Principles of Object-Oriented Programming, and functional programming concepts. PHP, Python or R is a plus. · Databases: Microsoft SQL, SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, SSIS, SSAS. · Experience working with configuration management, software build, and bug tracking tools such as Git, GitHub, CVS, Subversion, Jenkins, Jira, Bugzilla, and Mantis. · Proven competence to work with JavaScript, HTML, XML, JSON, and REST APIs.
