Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for customer service and a knack for managing billing processes? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, a growing company in the service industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service & Billing Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a direct hire opportunity in the Lancaster, NY area!


  • Oversee and lead both the customer service and billing department to ensure efficient and effective operations.

  • Manage a team of customer service and billing specialists, providing guidance, training, and support.

  • Utilize your extensive customer service experience to address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Handle quoting, invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement best practices for customer service and billing procedures.

  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators related to customer service and billing.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service and billing role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

  • Strong leadership and management skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Solid understanding of billing processes, accounts receivable, invoicing, and quoting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

  • Proficient in relevant software and tools, including billing systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
