Robert Half CFO -Non-Profit in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Description

Robert Half is currently working with a dynamic and impactful non-profit organization to hire a CFO. The CFO will oversee financial analysis, financial controls, planning and budgeting, long range forecasting, financial accounting systems and procedures, investor and corporate compliance, performance metrics, and asset, liability, and interest rate risk management. The CFO will ensure the responsible management of resources to support the mission of the organization. This role will be based in Lancaster, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's mission and objectives.

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting.

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.

  • Manage the organization's financial risk and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor financial performance against budgetary goals.

  • Ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting systems.

  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial management with programmatic goals.

  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including donors, funders, and financial institutions.

  • Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a non-profit organization preferred.

  • Deep knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and IRS requirements.

  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and analysis.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of our organization.
