Description Our local client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join an existing team working onsite. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area. You could manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan, as their Senior Project Manager. This job is important because it ensures that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders, serving as a key member of the team. Key responsibilities

  • Works in partnership with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Contributes to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Grants detailed reporting to management on project status, milestone completion, and risk assessments

  • Combines info from QA leads, technical leads, and business analysts into ideas

  • Sets out the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

  • Manages project planning

  • Arranges the daily stand-ups, assuring they are focused, timely, and brief

  • Confirms project with suitable ticket workflows and boards

  • Handles deployment scheduling in coordination with Product Owner, tech lead and Dev Ops

  • Organizes and leads the sprint planning and grooming meetings and records ticket assignments

  • Eventuates and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Functions as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, ensuring the team is working effectively, and leading scrum ceremonies

  • Closely cooperating and communicates with stakeholders,technical team members, developers, and designers

  • Work in close cooperation with the QA Manager, Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Business Analyst

  • Help the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

  • Assists the Product Owner/Product Manager to guarantee that the product vision and high-level business objectives are obvious and possible

  • Develops schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

  • Contributes to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests

  • Assure that the functional requirements are met, achievable, and tracked

  • Provide assistance to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap with the Product Owner/Product Manager Requirements - Ability to meet deadlines

  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP

    • It is preferred for applicants to have proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

  • Project management knowledge, along with strong operation and project management skills

    • Candidates with a Project Management (PMP) certification will be the best fit for this position.

  • Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments

  • Capable of working independently with minimal oversight

    • This position will be the best fit for a candidate with experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs

    • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience
