Robert Half Sr. Procurement Consultant in Landover, Maryland

Description We are in search of a Sr. Procurement Consultant based in Landover, Maryland. This role involves providing strategic guidance on procurement activities in a technologically advanced environment. The successful candidate will offer expertise in CRM, SAP 4Hana, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, and Management. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation

• Oversee ERP Solutions and ensure they align with business needs

• Utilize SAP HANA for real-time analytics and applications

• Advise on CRM strategies to improve customer relationship management

• Implement and manage an effective Management System to streamline operations

• Monitor and predict emerging trends in buying processes

• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and best practices

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly

• Maintain thorough and accurate procurement documentation

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM and ERP Solutions is essential

• Experience with SAP HANA is a must

• Familiarity with About Time management system is required

• Strong understanding of buying processes is necessary

• Demonstrated ability to maintain compliance with company and industry regulations

• Excellent customer service skills are required

• Proven ability to create and manage documentation

• Prior experience in a senior procurement role is preferred

• Strong organizational and strategic planning skills are necessary

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills are necessary

• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems is required

• Knowledge of industry trends and market conditions is preferred

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills are necessary

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously is required

• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality is necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred

• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
