Robert Half Senior Sales Analyst in Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Description

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company located in northern Montgomery County, PA seeks a senior (financial) sales analyst for a newly created position/department. The duties of the successful senior sales analyst will include:

Profit improvement analysis which includes:

Analysis, planning and development of opportunities that have bottom-line impact to the group/organization. Lead multiple margin improvement processes.

Present analytical insights to the upper management team.

Participate in a multitude of cross-functional teams (manufacturing/sales/operations) and initiatives.

Provide insights and recommendations to business partners and advocate for positive change as a result of analysis.

Sales Analysis and Reporting:

Support the organization as related to reporting and analysis systems.

Continually evaluate, improve, and innovate sales reporting platform to increase reporting efficiencies and better service needs of internal customers

Provide Ad Hoc Sales reports and analysis per request from management

Additionally the successful senior sales analyst will have general budgeting and forecasting responsibility including:

Coordinate the technical and data processing for budgeting

Monitor budget submissions based on analysis and review with management

Coordinate final submission of budget into reporting system Present final budget to Senior Management Responsible for budget process from start to finish Facilitate quarterly reforecasting process.

Requirements

The QUALIFICATIONS of the successful Senior Sales Analyst include:

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) is required

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance or Analytical role with some sales analytics experience

Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where change and growth are part of the culture Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills (proficiency in MS Access a plus)
