Description Talented and professional Software Developers looking for long-term contract / temporary work in the Lansing, Michigan area might find the opportunity for them here. You'll be right for this position if you can handle being responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. This position will be the best fit for a candidate with a growth mindset and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

What you get to do every day

• Provide clear and consistent communication around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams

• We're looking for someone who can maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems

• Regularly perform code-review and collaborate with other developers

• Fix and offer production support

• Work together with Scrum team to deliver exact work estimates Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable

  • Familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database) are required for success at this position

  • You'll be a good fit for this position if you have familiarity with scrum

• Adeptness in video

• SQL experience highly desired

• Good understanding of Microsoft Teams

• Practical knowledge of Submission

• Local Candidates experience highly valued

• Communication Skills experience

• Earlier work involving .NET

• Demonstrated knowledge of Verification

• Strong familiarity with productivity

• Comprehensive knowledge of communication

• Background working with Onsite

• Previous experience working with HTTPS

• General familiarity with programming

• Database development experience preferred

• Agreements experience highly preferred

  • It is preferred for applicants to have the ability to write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments

  • Candidates with experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc. will be the best fit for this position.

  • We are particularly looking for candidates with experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc.

• Experience documenting, crafting, and testing APIs

  • It is preferred for applicants to have knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
