Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in LaPorte, Texas, for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The role involves managing billing functions, reviewing contracts, and reconciling reports within the accounting software system.
Responsibilities:
• Review, process, and track billing for both lump sum and time and material contracts
• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites to maintain accurate billing records
• Administer claims and address customer credit inquiries
• Monitor customer credit accounts and initiate collection processes where necessary
• Reconcile reports and ensure balance within the accounting software system
• Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and report generation
• Maintain compliance with industry-specific accounting functions and standards
• Collaborate with the team to resolve any issues related to billing functions
• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions
• Practical knowledge of Billing Functions
• Familiarity with Claim Administration processes
• Experience in Collection Processes
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
