Robert Half Finance & Accounting Accounts Payable Specialist in Larkspur, California

* For immediate Consideration * Our client in central Marin County is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join an experienced and growing team. This roll will primarily be responsible for assisting the finance department with processing invoices and issuing payments. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices and payments into accounting system

  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment

  • Initiate payments utilizing bank website and other vendor sites as authorized

  • Prioritize invoices based on payment terms and communication with management

  • Engage with vendors to resolve discrepancies regarding invoices, credits and statement issues

  • Manage and organize AP email account

  • Oversee and direct expense report processing through Concur; ensure accuracy of coding and timely submission

  • Maintain detailed records and file organization

  • Assist finance team with month end processes

  • Manage all vendor responsibilities; ensure all negotiated contracts are paid as agreed on

  • Track relocation expenses and budgets for new hires

  • Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner

  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
