Robert Half Accounting / HR Manager in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description

Robert Half is looking for an Accounting / HR Manager that is focused, eager, and experienced for an immediate opening at a dynamic, progressive company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal Accounting / HR Manager candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and HR operations. This Accounting / HR Manager role is a permanent employment opportunity, based in the Las Vegas, Nevada area.

Your responsibilities

  • Overseeing timely payments of all accounts payable

  • Reconciling credit cards and bank statements

  • Preparing and making journal entries

  • Prepare annual 1099s

  • Fixed Asset Accounting

  • Dual Entry Accounting

  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system

  • Manage new hire process and employee data

  • Process payroll

  • Manage benefit administration

  • Maintain Employee Handbook and employee policies

  • Establishing office policies and procedures

  • Managing day to day operations of the office

  • Keeping office organized

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or associates degree in accounting

· 5 years previous work experience as a supervisor

· Conscientious, detail-oriented worker who is self-motivated

· Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

· Experience managing human resources responsibilities

· Prior accounting experience, performing accounts payable, payroll and general ledger duties.

· Working knowledge of automated accounting systems
