Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Las Vegas, Nevada
Description
We are searching for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join an evolving team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, the Account Payable Specialist will be tasked with managing the processing AP invoices, coding invoices and managing the expenses. The Accounts Payable Specialist must have high attention to detail, prior experience in working with large ERP systems, and the ability to produce in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
• Process expense reports and handle GL Coding.
• Utilize various systems to perform AP tasks.
• Match, batch, and code invoices upon receipt and ensure they are entered and / or scanned into Great Plains.
• Communicate with department heads to obtain approval for invoices when needed.
• Handle both PO and Non-PO invoices.
• Statement reconciliations.
• Utilize strong research abilities to solve problems related to accounts payable.
• Research and resolve accounts payable issues with customers or vendors.
This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity located in Central Las Vegas. This role is onsite, working 5 days a week. If you meet the requested requirements, please make sure to apply immediately.
Requirements
• Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a shared service environment.
• Proficiency in large ERP systems is required, Great Plains is preferred.
• Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred, not a requirement.
