Description Become an integral part of a rapidly growing team at a company in the Hospitality industry as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk on a contract / temporary basis. This long-term position is offered through Robert Half. Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, processing expense reports, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. If you are a collaborative team member with a positive attitude and effective communication skills, then this role is for you. Based out of the Las Vegas, Nevada area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary opening.

How you will make an impact

  • Execute additional tasks as needed

  • Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

  • Provide support to internal business partners

  • Produce full-cycle A/P

  • Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

  • Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

  • Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed

  • Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents Requirements - Practical knowledge of data entry

  • Earlier work involving batching

  • Skills in Coupa

  • Well-founded grasp of customer invoices

  • Oracle experience

  • Foundational knowledge in SAP

  • Quality experience with numeric data entry

  • Deep understanding of Oracle

  • Command of Oracle R12 E-Business Suite (EBS)

  • Proven knowledge of Approved Invoices

  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Excel

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel

  • Wide ranging experience with general ledger

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience highly desired

  • General familiarity with Invoice Entry

  • Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

  • 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
