Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the financial technology industry. This role is based in Las Vegas, Nevada and will play an instrumental role in the growth and success of our team. As a Controller, you will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, manage financial reporting and research technical accounting matters.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Payroll, Cash, fixed assets and General Ledger accounting
• Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare financial statements and internal financial reporting packages on a monthly basis
• Support the preparation and submission of SEC financial reporting (10-Q, 10-K, and other required regulatory filings)
• Conduct research on technical accounting matters and determine the proper accounting treatment
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems such as 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports for efficient management of accounting functions
• Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
• Oversee and manage budget processes to ensure financial efficiency. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or financial management
• Proficiency in using 3M
• Expertise in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Must have experience with CRM
• Crystal Reports proficiency is necessary
• Should be able to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Auditing skills are essential
• Must have experience in managing Budget Processes
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, Master's degree is preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
• CPA certification is preferred.
