Description

Robert Half is seeking a FP& A Manager for our well-respected client! The FP& A Manager must be able to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once, as well as excellent analytical capabilities and strong verbal and writing skills. This role is perfect for an experienced FP& A Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company.

How you will make an impact

  • Examine fiscal and budget assumptions in the development of operating plans

  • Draw up operating budget and forecasts by estimating the costs and benefits of operating plans during the annual budget development cycle

  • Provide financial analysis support for the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Oversee and manage financial planning team operations

  • Contribute to financial deliverables for the executive team

  • Provide support for regulatory filings

  • Participate in and contribute to cross-functional development teams to address strategic issues

  • Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions

  • Engage with staff by recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees

  • Direct and lead financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts

  • Arrange financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis

  • Provide key financial analysis to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions

  • Complete financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions

Requirements

  • Exceptional business acumen

  • Exceptional qualitative and quantitative skills

  • Previous experience with computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages

  • 5+ years of experience in FP& A required

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus

  • Must have superb interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships

  • In this role, the candidate will be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
