Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Las Vegas, Nevada

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper in the Construction/Contractor industry. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, this role will involve auditing incoming discovery documents, advanced construction bookkeeping, and forensic accounting focused on analysis. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct auditing of incoming discovery documents including P& L’s, Balance Sheets, bank statements, construction progress payments, and job costing reports.

• Perform advanced construction bookkeeping in QuickBooks, specifically for subcontractors.

• Engage in forensic accounting, focusing on analysis to ensure accuracy and validity of financial documents.

• Review and verify financial documents, including P& L sheets, identifying any inconsistencies or discrepancies.

• Handle job costing reports, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.

• Utilize skills in construction accounting to manage and oversee financial aspects of construction projects.

• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reviews on a regular basis.

• Use QuickBooks to manage and maintain accurate financial records.

• Engage in full-charge bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are up to date and accurate.

• Use skills in derivatives profit and loss to manage and predict financial trends. Requirements • Proficiency in Full Charge Bookkeeping is a must

• Experience in the construction industry is required

• Familiarity with Construction Accounting principles and practices

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently

• Knowledge and understanding of Derivatives Profit & Loss

• Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reviews

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks

• Experience in Job Cost estimation and tracking

• Ability to work independently and take full charge of financial tasks

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Relevant certification or degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
