Description
Robert Half is seeking an experienced paralegal for government client, based in Las Vegas Nevada. The ideal Paralegal will have at least three years’ experience working in the legal field. However, those with a minimum of six months of paralegal experience and a passion for helping others are encouraged to apply. This long-term contract engagement is for a newly created position that will support one of the kindest and hardest working attorneys and may become permanent based on performance. Daily duties will include but are not limited to, compiling trial materials, organizing exhibits, preparing court filings, preparing memos for attorney review, conducting new client intake, summarizing intake interviews, printing mailers and other administrative support services as needed. Culture fit will be paramount for this team, along with a willingness to work onsite twice per week. If you consider yourself to be a joy to work with, we want to hear from you! Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree, Paralegal certificate or Juris Doctor.
Experience: a minimum of 6 months of relevant legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal.
-Should be savvy with word processing and spreadsheets
Excellent problem-solving skills
Microsoft Office Suites experience required
Well-founded grasp of Applicable Federal Law
General familiarity with federal court
Microsoft Excel experience desired
Proven knowledge of documentation
Practical knowledge of Civil Litigation Experience
Quality experience with court filing
Detailed, accurate, and an ability to handle confidential information
Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all
