Description
Robert Half is partnering with an established but growing Las Vegas based company in their search for highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, proficiency in Excel, and experience with ERP systems. This hands-on role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and correct variances.
Perform month end closings and prepare financial statements.
Process and post payables, invoices, and checks.
Resolve vendor issues and maintain vendor info.
Ensure timely bill payments and update logs.
Prepare credit applications and new customer forms.
Assist with collections and record bank deposits.
Maintain records, prepare contractor tax forms, assist with audits, and manage contracts.
Ensure compliance with standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
4-5+ years of accounting experience
Intermediate Excel proficiency (large data sets, reconciliations, lookups)
Accounting software experience
