Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a reputable Healthcare company. You will use your knowledge and skills to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and manage internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates need to bring strong analytical skills to the role and should be capable of handling challenging, fast-paced work environments. This Senior Accountant role is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Your responsibilities in this role
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required

Financial analysis experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
Journal entries experience
Experience with Prepare Financial Statements
Adeptness in Monthly Close
Adjusting Journal Entries experience
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
SOX compliance is a plus
Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Strong communication and social skills
Must have excellent time management skills
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
3+ years of overall general accounting experience
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Current and relevant ERP system experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
