Robert Half is seeking an onsite team addition for a client of ours here in the Las Vegas area. The role's primary responsibilities will be creating advanced reports using SQL, assisting with ad hoc report and query requests, dashboarding and other associated data analytic requirements. This is a 3-month temp to perm position, and will be onsite, in the office, M-F, 8am-5pm.

The Reporting Writer is a member of the Reporting team within the Information Technology Department, with the main role to support company’s business processes with the advanced reports, dashboards, and other data analysis tools.

Leveraging different reporting tools, this role is responsible to design, develop and maintain analytics, high-quality visualizations, dashboards, and reports to present complex data insights to our stakeholders; along with providing input on data flow between different applications and solution the company is using.

This employee shall have knowledge of coding to write and execute custom queries against our different systems and databases for data analysis, testing and validation; perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

This role requires to understand enterprise data warehouse and data mart models and work closely with different IT team members; participate in universes and data warehouse data model designs and provide input and feedback from reports perspectives.

This employee will work closely with our team’s Business Analysts and Data Architects & Developers to identify requirements, develop technical solutions, provide technical and data analysis expertise to ensure the success of our data analytics initiatives.

Requirements

· Proficient in designing reports and dashboards using different visualization tools, Power BI and SAP BI experience a plus

· Strong SQL skills for extracting and analyzing data

· Strong understanding of data modeling, warehouse design

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data sets

· Ability to adapt to new technical products

· Good interpersonal and communicational skills

· Highly organized self-starter with an eye for detail who can maintain multiple ongoing tasks
