Description
This role handles financial statement preparation and related journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and cost/inventory accounting. Candidates with strong analytical skills and a preference for challenging and fast-paced work environments will be successful in this position. Your responsibilities
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives
Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner

Requirements - Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills
Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
Strong time management skills preferred
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
GAAP Accounting experience preferred
CPA experience
Proven knowledge of NetSuite
Strong familiarity with financial analysis
Well-founded grasp of cost accounting
Financial reporting experience preferred
Journal entries experience
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
