Robert Half International Staff Accountant in Las Vegas, Nevada
A growing and industry leading company is looking to add a motivated Staff Accountant to their team. The Staff Accountant role is a newly created role due to an internal promotion and the growth being experienced by the company. As a Staff Accountant, you will work directly with company leadership and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the company. Your responsibilities as a Staff Accountant, will consist of, but will not be limited to the following:
Preparing and posting journal entries.
Preparing monthly general ledger reconciliation.
Preparing monthly fixed asset schedule.
Preparing monthly variance analysis.
Assisting with the monthly financial statement preparation.
Partnering with the Controller on various special projects.
The ideal Staff Accountant should meet the following minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Strong understanding of GAAP.
Prior accounting experience with companies of $100+ million in annual revenues.
Advanced Excel skills.
