Job Summary:
Robert Half is seeking Data Entry Specialists for ongoing opportunities in the downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. As a Data Entry Specialist you will be responsible for inputting, verifying, and managing data in systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry:
Input and update data accurately and efficiently into company databases and spreadsheets.
Ensure data is consistent, organized, and follows established data entry procedures.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Data Verification:
Verify the accuracy of data entries and correct any discrepancies.
Review and cross-check data for completeness and integrity.
Identify and resolve data-related issues or inconsistencies.
Data Management:
Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
Assist in data cleansing and deduplication efforts.
Generate reports and summaries from databases as required.
Quality Control:
Perform regular data quality checks to identify and rectify errors.
Collaborate with team members to maintain data standards and integrity.
Contribute to the development and improvement of data entry processes.
Confidentiality:
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Comply with data protection and privacy regulations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in data entry or related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize data discrepancies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
