Description
Our client is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. In this Full Charge Bookkeeper position, you will regulate journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The Full Charge Bookkeeper may also manage clerical staff. Accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Lawndale, California area.
Responsibilities
Keep sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Supply cash flow projections, as needed
Keep Accounts Payable up to date
Assemble cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Outline business license and gross receipts
Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Administer monthly accounting close
Knowledgeable in credit card management and reconciliation
Record budget transfers
Familiar with Accounts Receivable
Supplementary assignments when necessary

Requirements - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
- 5+ years of related experience- Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
General ledger experience
QuickBooks experience
General familiarity with Process Payroll
Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience with Intercompany Transaction
Practical knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration
Solid understanding of month end closings
Adeptness in Accounts Payable (AP)
Intercompany experience
