Description

The Regional Director for our Disability Housing Company is responsible for overseeing and managing multiple housing facilities within a designated region. The primary goal of this role is to ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance with regulations, and the achievement of operational and financial objectives. The Regional Director will lead a team housing manager and staff to provide safe, supportive, and inclusive housing for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of multiple housing facilities within the region.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities to ensure high standards of care and service.

  • Implement and oversee quality control measures to continuously improve service delivery.

  • Address and resolve any issues or complaints from residents, families, or staff promptly and effectively.

  • Prepare and manage regional budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.

  • Monitor financial performance of each facility, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

  • Approve expenditures and ensure financial policies and procedures are followed.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet regional and company-wide goals.

  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the region.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional objectives with overall company strategy.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID) field.

  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

  • Proven ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials and industry associations.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

  • Confident in public speaking at events, conferences, and on social media platforms.

  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with management staff, employees, and the general public, demonstrating sensitivity to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the company’s public image.
