Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in LEBANON, Indiana
Description
A national manufacturer N of Whitestown is adding an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist on a full-time, contract to hire basis. This role will train 2-3 days in office then transition to primarily remote.
CANDIDATES MUST LIVE LOCAL TO CENTRAL INDIANA. Company offers both stability and comprehensive benefits package once hired on perm.
Essential job duties include:
posting customer payments relating to accounts receivable
reconciliation of cash accounts
distribute all manual invoices
review/resolve any orders on credit hold
maintain sales tax exemptions*maintaining customer credit files
mail out monthly statements
Requirements
have 2+ years of prior accounts receivable experience - including high volume cash applications
have intermediate knowledge of Excel
prior ERP experience with SAP, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc. highly preferred
Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred, but not required
have a history of outstanding attendance as supported by references
