This is a full-time, 100% ONSITE, TEMPORARY-to-HIRE contractual opportunity that can lead to a PERMANENT position and is located near Levittown, PA. The hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

A well established and rapidly growing organization in real estate/property management is looking for someone with an Accounts Payable/Finance background (processing wires/checks/money disbursements) for a Funding Specialist open position. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with third parties (and filing preparations) to ensure a loan is properly funded. The ideal candidate must have experience handling wires/checks/money disbursements. Also, the ideal candidate will be moldable, looking to grow within an organization, be technically sufficient, and have 2+ years of experience in title/mortgage or financial company experience.

Those with a background in Accounts Payables/Finance would be considered IF you have experience handling wires/checks/money disbursements. Otherwise, you must have a background in Mortgage or Title Funding experience.

Responsibilities:

•Check all title requirements and recordable documents for validity and insurability

•Prepare File for Funding

•Release and/or set up wires for disbursement and printing checks

•Report any discrepancies, issues, shortages, or funding errors immediately

•Work with vendors/attorneys/partners to facilitate the funding of loans on time

•Follow up and remediation on daily deposits, delayed fundings, escalations, funding issues, funding exceptions, stale checks, file balances

•Work on final funding process: overnight checks, booking or posting wires and deposits, wire confirmations, prepare FFD paperwork

•Review exception reports to communicate delays and issues to customers

•RDC Deposits and Positive Pay

•Maintain compliance on wire and check policies

•Mail out payments, scan documents, follow up on tax payments, handle remittance corrections

•Assist with file balances and stale checks

•Maintain correspondence with clients and borrowers for corrections/trailing documents if needed

•Help with post-closing, recording and policy as necessary

Requirements

Requirements:

•Must have experience handling wires/checks/money disbursements.

•3+ years of title/mortgage or financial company experience desired.

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Detail oriented

•Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

•Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary internal and external customer service

•MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
