Description
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting and maintaining data within the company's databases, spreadsheets, and other digital platforms. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to work with large volumes of data while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities;
Input and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and other digital systems accurately and efficiently.
Verify the accuracy of data input and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
Ensure data integrity and completeness by conducting regular quality checks.
Organize and maintain data files and records in a systematic and orderly manner.
Perform data cleanup and de-duplication tasks to eliminate redundant or outdated information.
Assist in developing and implementing data management procedures and best practices.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in data entry or related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a data entry clerk, data entry operator, or similar role.
Proficiency in data entry software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or specialized database systems.
Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Minimum Typing Speed: 45 WPM
